Last month, we began to look at the skills of having “crucial conversations” taken from the book with the same name. In part 2 we will be looking at

• The stories I tell myself when I am in a difficult conversation

• How to stay in dialogue when I am angry, scared or hurt.

• How to speak persuasively, not abrasively and

• How to listen actively when others blow up or clam up.

• We will work on turning our conversations into action.
